Seirei Christopher's University Library collects and organizes materials mainly in the fields of nursing, social welfare, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language and hearing sciences, early childhood education, school nurse education, elementary education, and related fields.
The library aims to provide students, graduate students, graduates, faculty members, and professionals in the fields of healthcare, medical care, social welfare, education, and childcare with a wide range of materials necessary for learning and research.
Library staff will do their best to assist you in obtaining the materials you need accurately and promptly, so please feel free to ask for assistance. Please follow the rules and use the library to the fullest.
■You need your student ID or user card to enter the library.
■Please keep quiet.
■Eating, drinking, smoking, and disturbing others are prohibited.
In the audiovisual area, you can watch videos, DVDs, CDs, cassettes, etc. in individual booths.
Please pick up headphones and a remote control at the counter.
Please ask at the counter for DVDs.
Books that have not yet been revised, infrequently used materials, and bound journals and bulletins that are not open to the public are stored in the stacks.
If you find “Stack 1”, “Stack 2”, or “Stack (Bound journals)” in the material search results, please inform the counter.
We will bring it from the stacks.
There are request boxes at the Browsing Corner on the 2nd floor and the Newspaper Rack on the 3rd floor.
Please make a request by filling out the “Request Form for Books Requested by Students”.
The Library Management Committee will consider whether the book is available for purchase. The result will be announced on the bulletin board of the University Library.
Requests can also be made through “My Library”.
