Learning Commons

Unlike a quiet library reading room, the Learning Commons is a place where students can work on issues, learn, and create something together through discussion with their peers.
Since it is located in the library, students can bring in and use library materials such as books and magazines without having to go through the checkout process.
The space can be used for various purposes, including study sessions with movable tables, chairs, and a whiteboard.
Projectors and other equipment are also available.
Food is not allowed, but you can bring your own drinks in containers with lids (plastic bottles, water bottles, etc.) for relaxing and studying.
Group Study Room

Group Study Rooms are suitable for groups of 5-10 students.
It can be used as an active study room for students to familiarize themselves with presentations and discussions while utilizing library materials.
Students can use the large monitor for group study while watching DVDs, have small group discussions, and practice and make presentations using the projector and wireless presentation.
Use is by reservation only.
Group Study Room 1 has 10 seats, Group Study Room 2 has 6 seats, and Group Study Rooms 1 and 2 can be used as a single room by removing the partitions.
<usage rules>
Learning Commons
・In principle, students are free to use the Learning Commons at any time.
・If you want to use the Learning Commons for a class, such as an exercise, practical training, or seminar, or for a program to support education and learning (workshop, training session), please contact the Library Administration Center by e-mail or phone, stating the name of the class, time period, faculty member in charge, and number of students.
・As a general rule, the Learning Commons cannot be used by only one class. It must be shared with students who are using it individually or with other classes that are using it at the same time.
Group Study Room
●Reservations are required. Please follow the procedures below.
・Students are requested to check the reservation list on the library website and make a reservation directly at the library counter.
・Faculty members are requested to check the reservation status chart on the library website and make a reservation by e-mail, phone, or in person at the library office.

◇During the period of regular examinations and national examinations, the library is open until 9:00 p.m. Closed days Sundays, National holidays, and University holidays. |
